We are trapped into complexity.

The complexity software is running our lives: complex strategies, complex organizations, complex processes, complex controls, complex operations… and complex thinking, complex arguments, complex plans, complex communication, complex relationships, complex evaluations, complex administration, complex everything.

Complexity is surrounding us with a blinding fog, preventing proper awareness, proper insight, and proper impact. It is clouding our vision, distorting our judgement, and hindering our actions. A prison we have largely built ourselves to the point we now even fail to see it.

Complexity is the major driver of non-performance, and the key impediment to leadership efficacy. Most leadership attributes are meaningless if leaders do not win the battle against complexity first.
